About
I begin with curiosity rather than certainty.
My paintings aren't planned — they're discovered. I start each canvas with curiosity, move into chaos, and if I stay with it long enough, clarity shows up. Layers go on, come off, and get revealed again until the work begins telling me what it wants to become.
Dance was my first love. At some point, canvas and paint took over and became the choreography.
I'm self-taught, and I've never worked toward a predetermined outcome. What I keep returning to are thresholds — the quiet spaces between known and unknown, between form and abstraction. The process is the point. The process is the destination.
I paint large-scale in acrylic, in Los Angeles. Originally from Winnipeg, Canada.
